The model of Community title is one local authorities are embracing as a land management strategy.  Sites previously or currently too “sensitive” for ecological/ environmental reason can be managed efficiently under Community title.  Local authorities are assisting developers using Community title in these areas.  There are many examples currently in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast, where the local authority, embracing the idea of land management through the community titles schemes.   Local authorities have given the developer certain allowances and flexibility during the development approval process.
