From time to time some owners fail to pay the body corporate contributions. In these circumstances the body corporate may be forced to take recovery action that can include the following:-

  • A letter of demand from the body corporate;
  • A letter of demand from the body corporate solicitor; and
  • The issue of Court proceedings.

The body corporate will add the costs of recovering the outstanding contributions to the amount owed by the owner.
