All owners corporations are required to keep a letterbox and/or a sign displaying contact details of the owners corporation.

However, if you wish to make contact with the owners corporation urgently, then you need to know how to contact the chairperson, secretary or the manager. Owners corporations should develop a policy on how day to day communication between a lot owner and the owners corporation can be made. The policy should be party of the rules and may specify how and when the chairperson, secretary or the manager can be contacted and what to do if there is an emergency. This policy should be given to all new lot owners or be displayed on a notice board.
